The
Byron Stand Up Paddle Nature Tour
"Highlight of our trip
to Byron."
You'll love the fun challenge and relaxing adventure of our Byron Stand Up Paddle Nature Tour. On tour with us, you'll be experiencing the fun of stand up paddling in a peaceful and beautiful setting, that at times seems a world away. Our tour takes place on the beautiful Brunswick River which is part of the Cape Byron Marine Park - our slice of paradise.
New to stand up paddle boarding? No worries!
Stand up paddle boarding is rapidly growing in popularity, because it's a fun, low impact sport that can be enjoyed by a wide range of ages and abilities. Most people that come on tour with us have been wanting to try SUP for a while. We know trying something new can be daunting, so our boards are big and buoyant to give you the most stable introduction to stand up paddle boarding. We also include an introductory lesson to share tips and tricks to help have you standing up within minutes, so it's no wonder many of our customers finish our tour saying, "It was easier than I expected!".
Why come on tour with us?
Being a small family business, we pride ourselves on our tour being one of the top things to do in Byron Bay and feel honoured to have received hundreds of 5 STAR reviews from our customers and awarded the Best of the Best Award by Tripadvisor. We love stand up paddling (SUP) and we love the Byron area (being born & bred here), and we will do all we can to ensure you have an amazing experience.
Location:
We run our nature tours on the beautiful and peaceful Brunswick River in the Cape Byron Marine Park, just outside of Brunswick Heads (8 minutes north up the highway from the Byron Bay exit).
Here you'll feel far away from the hustle and bustle and can soak up some peace and quiet immersed in nature. Hopefully we'll see an array of wildlife, such as native birds (ospreys, cormorants, kingfishers), fish and baby stingrays, who scatter away in a cloud of sand as soon as we come near. This river is peaceful and calm, surrounded by trees and not a house in sight, only the odd fisherman cruising in his tinny!
Please note we are not currently offering transfers due to the COVID pandemic. You'll need to make your way to the meeting address just outside of Brunswick Heads... Which is a great excuse to spend some time checking out this cute little village before or after your tour.

Stand up paddle is fantastic for a wide range of ages. You can have children as young as 3 years old out to share in all the fun of your private tour. Children will either sit on the front of their parent's board, have their own board attached behind the tour guide or have their own board and paddle independently (depending on their age, size and ability).
Abilities:
-
No experience or special abilities required for a private tour.
A private tour is fabulous if you're new to stand up paddle, because there's no worry about keeping up with anybody else, it's just you and your partner, family or friends, supporting each other, having a laugh and making memories, all at your own pace.
The same is true for experienced SUP stars, with a private tour you're not waiting on others, you're setting the pace with your crew.
You don't need to be super fit or have great balance to enjoy our private SUP tour, but you do need to know how to swim. Mind you, most people are surprised to find they come back dry and we're frequently being told "it's easier than I was expecting!"
Although it's called stand up paddling, you don't have to stand up the whole time (or even at all if you don't feel like it), you can kneel, sit cross-legged or legs out in front on the board – you can do whatever feels most comfortable for you.
Inclusions:
